This year’s theme, *“Travelin Light—Exploring the Boundaries of Time and Space, Illuminating the Beauty of Light and Shadow,”* invites audiences on a spectacular journey through the wonders of light art, enhanced by the timeless allure of the Jing’an Pagoda.
At the heart of this grand event is DLB’s custom kinetic light installation, the *Glints Circle*, a 9-meter diameter masterpiece that fuses tradition with modern technology. Utilizing cutting-edge lighting elements such as the *Kinetic Pixel Line*, *Kinetic Bar*, and *Kinetic Mini Ball*, the *Glints Circle* reimagines the towering elegance of the Jing’an Pagoda. Through an intricate dance of light and motion, the installation transports viewers to a world where stars, planets, and cosmic phenomena unfold before their eyes. The rotating lights create an immersive experience that draws the audience into a visual narrative of time and space, evoking both ancient grandeur and futuristic design.
In the *Tyndall Secret Realm* of the West Garden, DLB’s contribution extends to the spectacular *Light Dance* scene, where lasers, sound, and interactive technology come together in a synchronized display. Swirls of blue and gold illuminate the night sky, interacting with the ancient architecture of the Jing’an Pagoda to create a stunning visual of Shanghai’s cultural and technological fusion. The event highlights the city’s commitment to blending innovation with tradition, making it a truly unforgettable celebration of light and art.
